Day 1: Arrive in Uganda
Upon reaching Entebbe airport, our driver will be ready to deliver your 4×4 safari customized
car, and transfer to your hotel in Kampala, take a rest until next day to start on your journey.

Day 2: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park and en-route to Ziwa
This morning on the 14 Days Uganda Gorillas, chimps & wildlife (2 weeks in Uganda), board your 4×4 safari car rental for a self-drive to Murchison Falls National Park,
en-route to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary to track the only rhinos in their natural sanctuary. Ziwa is
located in Nakasongola about 2 hour’s drive from Kampala along Kampala-Gulu road. Rhino
tracking is accompanied with a lot of encounters including several bird species, antelope
species among others. The track can last for about 2 hours, and after the track with lunch en-
route will continue to Murchison Falls National Park also about 2 hours of driving. Reaching the
park will take a drive to the top of the falls and watch how these thunderous roars force into
narrow gorge. Then will check-in at your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Explore Murchison Falls National Park
This morning will take a sunny morning game drive on the northern section of Murchison Falls
National Park. The Murchison game drive is among the adventure rewards of Uganda with a lot
of expectations being full filled. On a good day you watch both leopards and lions around the
Pakuba tracks, elephants, buffalos and rhinos which were watched previously will mark it a Big-
Five game drive. Expect more other animals like towers of giraffes, Jackson hartebeest, Uganda
Kobs, Hippos, bushbuck, waterbucks, duikers and many more of the species, many bird species
can be encountered up to the animals centers the Delta point.
After for about 3 hours of driving through the park, the will have to return and refresh with lunch
and wait for the afternoon Boat cruise. The Victoria Nile boat cruise leads to the bottom of the
Murchison Falls. It’s arguably considered to be the world’s most powerful waterfalls. Imagine
how huge rapid do force into a gorge of 7m wider and pour at 45m down to form a thunderous
roar. A drive is amazing with a lot of sights among which include; cliff, varies of vegetation,
several animals seen at the bank of the river among others The boat cruise lasts for about three
hours and return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Sport Fishing and Transfer to Kibale National Park
This day make it a special morning after the served breakfast will have a special ride with your
fishing tools on the Victoria Nile. The fishing adventure is one of the special activities done in
Murchison Falls and here its catch and realize. The sport fishing adventure lasts for about 2 to 3
hours, and the main catch will be tilapia. Then will transfer to Kibale National Park with lunch en-
route. Will reach the park when it’s evening hours and will check-in at your lodge for dinner and
overnight.

Day 5: Chimpanzee Tracking and Visit Bigodi community
This morning following the morning breakfast will drive to Kanyachu center to briefing about
tracking etiquette. Get grouped 8 people to track a single habituated chimpanzee community,
then with an armed ranger guide will roll into the forest to start a search for the apes. The track
can last between 30 minutes to 3 hours to find the tracked community.
Finding the apes, you are limited for an hour in their presence. This moment is like nowhere in the jungle, to find yourself in the midst of these human closest relatives. After an hour in their presence, will walk back to the starting point, find your driver and drive back to your lodge to relax and refresh.
Have your lunch. In the late afternoon hours will visit the Bigodi community and see how people around the chimpanzees are benefiting from the tracing initiatives, they have variety of souvenirs among
which you can also buy. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Bigodi Swamp Nature Walks and Crater Lake Visit and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
This morning will hurry to take on a nature walk at Bigodi wetland, sometimes is referred to as
the primate walk. This Bigodi sanctuary accommodates about 13 primate species among which
include blue monkey, black and white colobus monkey, L’Hoest Monkey among others. This
nature walking trails also is a bird watching trail, and some other wild animals like bushbuck can
be encountered. After you will drive to Fort Portal and visit the Amabere caves, these are
cultural sites which display a strong history of the Bachwezi dynasty.
Then will take a drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park reaching the park evening hours. Then
will check-in at your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Explore Queen Elizabeth National Park
Today early morning with your packed breakfast will drive to Kasenyi section of Queen
Elizabeth National Park for an incredible game drive. The meaning of driving with packed
breakfast is to enjoy morning bloody sunrise with a bit, it’s very amazing. One of the rewarding
game drive with variety of wildlife species including; elephants, Uganda kobs, bushbucks,
buffalos, lions, warthogs among so many species to watch accompanied by several bird
species.
In the afternoon hours with lunch en-route will drive to the Mweya peninsular, for a boat cruise
on Kazinga channel. The wild boat cruise is an opening of watching more animals. Several
animals are seen coming to the channel banks to draw water and the aquatic life seen either
socked in water or lousily relaxed at water banks. Then, after will drive back to your lodge for
dinner and overnight.

Day 8: Ishasha Sector Visit and Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
This day will take a morning drive through Ishasha sector, track the tree climbing lions. Ishasha
sector is located in the southern location of Queen Elizabeth National Park and is a famous
region in East African for hosting these amazing tree climbing lions. Then afterwards you board
for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park with lunch en-route. Will reach the park in the evening
hours and enter the park via Buhoma gate. Relax, enjoy your dinner and overnight at your
lodge.

Day 9: Track gorillas and Batwa
Today you will enjoy your morning breakfast, and hurry to the Buhoma starting point for trekking
briefing. In a group of trekkers accompanied by an armed ranger guide will embark for a search
for the gentle giants. This kind of Adventure is limited to the central African jewelry of Virunga
Conservation Area and Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The trek lasts for about 30 minutes
to about 4 hours to find your assigned habituated gorilla family.
The trek involves walking through the unmade paths, through moist thick jungle, hikes and slopes through hills and valleys and on finding the gorillas it’s a tiresome moment. But setting your eyes on the species, then you have to find out that all the tiresomeness is forgotten. Finding the gorilla, you will have
strictly one hour before them, then will be walking back to the starting point. You will be very
exhausted, you just need to drive back to your lodge and relax.
In the late afternoon hours, you will visit the Batwa community around the Buhoma community
to have a feel of their real life. Then you will drive to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park return to
your lodge relax, have dinner and rest for the next day.

Day 10: Volcanic hiking
Today it’s a long day of trekking the amazing Mt. Sabinyo on your energizing breakfast, and
then will take a trek alongside experienced ranger guide who will be leading you. Trekking
mount Sabinyo can last for about 7 hours to and from, it’s the most famous trekked volcano in
the Virunga Massif.
The trek covers about 8hrs taking a distance of about 14kkm, and reaching at the peak you then stand at 3669m above sea level. The trek goes through hikes and slope via hills and valleys until reaching the peak. Reaching the peak of you realize that you’re standing at the border of three countries Uganda, Rwanda and DR Congo. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 11: Golden Monkey tracking and transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
This morning will take on the golden monkeys of the Volcanos National Park. The golden
monkeys are endangered species and endemic to the Virunga forests. Golden monkeys bring a
say of Gold meeting Silver, drawn from the aspect of meeting the golden monkeys living along
with silverback mountain gorilla.
These golden monkeys are a bit shy, but are habituated to ensure a close up encounter for the community. The track can last for 30 minutes to 2 hours and finding them you have an hour of enjoying their view. Later after the golden monkey adventure, will take a drive to Lake Bunyonyi and relax for the night.

Day 12: Lake Bunyonyi
Today you will spend the rest of your day exploring and enjoying the beautiful scenery of Lake
Bunyonyi. You take a boat ride to some of the islands and the most interesting island is the
Punishment Island due to its story related to being an execution island for girls with early
pregnancy. Then you will enjoy the sweet melodies of so many small birds swing around your
lodge. Today you will spend another night at Lake Bunyonyi.

Day 13: Transfer to Kampala
Today, take a relaxed breakfast, and later take a morning drive back to Kampala with lunch en-
route in Mbarara at Igongo cultural center. Also consider a stopover at the Equator for
photography. You will reach in Kampala by evening hours and drive to your lodge for dinner and
overnight.

Day 14: Kampala city guide and fly back home
Today enjoy a relaxed day in Kampala, after your morning breakfast take a city walk through
downtown and crown it with a visit to Mengo palace and Bulange building. These are two
significant building in the history of Buganda, Mengo palace is the official palace of the Kingdom
and Bulange is the administrative block of Buganda kingdom. Enjoy your last lunch on the Pearl
of Africa’s land for now, and then will drive to Entebbe International Airport for your next flight
back home.
